"'The story is about twin sisters who are not content about the type of hair they have and wish they had each other’s hair- one curly and one straight. So they come up with an idea to fulfill their wishes and follow through. The story is well paced and detailed about the negative consequences of their choice and how finally they come to learn that should appreciate what they have and not be sneaky or go behind their parents back. Illustrations are adorable and appealing.
This story deals with things children can easily relate to- wants, desires, misbehavior and consequences in a school and family setting.
Loving how Allah created you and honesty are important lessons taught in this thought provoking story.
I think girls will more interested in this story than boys since the main characters are the twin sisters."

"I ordered this book because I have twins who also have very different hair! It's an awesome lesson on appreciating our own unique traits. Additionally, as an educator, I appreciate literature that shows representation in a variety of ways. I have recommended this book to many of my students as well who are B.Ed Candidates."

"My kids loved this book! My 7yr old especially loved it because she has curly hair n the 3yr old has straighter hair and she always wanted to try switching it up, so her eyes lit up and lips gleamed with every page and possibility ... the message gives a beautiful message of loving yourself for how you were created as it was indeed perfect <3"
