"As usually, another beautiful story from Ruqayyahs Bookshelf. This one had the whole family in tears! The simple reminder that there is khair in all things, whether we can understand it or not, we must be thankful even in the apparent bad in Allahs blessings and plans. I’m so proud to have this beautiful addition and I truly hope every Muslim family adds it to there’s as well. Not just a beautiful reminder and message for kids, but for adults alike ❤️."

"Thank God for this Blessing’ is the theme of the book. Things go wrong with the narrator and she can’t understand how it can be a blessing. She is blessed to have a Bibi that teaches her this important lesson at every opportunity. I loved Bibi’s character and how motherly and patient and thoughtful she is.
The setting of the story is placed in a small town where many of the modern conveniences are out of reach. I think this was a very thoughtful choice and something to discuss with the children along with the contentment of the characters in the story.
Great for discussing about mishaps and blessings with children and to be optimistic. When bad things happen it’s easy to just focus on that one negative event . This story is a beautiful reminder that things can turn around for the good and we need to focus on the blessings we already have."

"Thank God for this Blessing" of a book :) that teaches us that we mess up ! And things may not go how we planned! But it's still a Blessing indeed and with time comes understanding so stay positive and try to see the good in every situation (which is an important reminder for kids, and adults alike)"

"I got this with half a dozen others and this is by far my kids (and my) favorite! The message is very relatable, as kids are prone to make mistakes. This book so lovingly guides the reader that it's impossible not to agree, with heart, mind, and all. A real gem!"
